Job Responsibilities:
You will be reporting directly to Research Director, Financial Insights, IDC China, or a person designated by the aforementioned. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

Direct contributions as a regional analyst, via primary analysis and report writing, on research produced within the regional research group. You will be required to produce documents using IDC methodology, taxonomy, and formats, focused on, but not limited to, the following areas:

• Market and Competitive Analyses
• Technology Trends and Predictions
• User Demands and Preferences
• Business Models & Practice

Analysis and Research:
• Analysis and report writing associated with the research program
• Primary, independent research inclusive of data gathering, interviewing, data processing, analysis, and report generation
• Report writing and presentation of findings to IDC clients
• Consulting/custom research projects regionally
• Final presentations and wrap-ups with clients
• Keeping current with industry trends and new research
• Insuring quality and timeliness of IDC research deliverables
• Vetting research methodologies and instruments
• Special reports

Consulting Projects:
• Supporting the definition, creation and production of IDC market intelligence products and solutions for countries or domains under your responsibility.
• Maintaining research project planning, scheduling, and tracking.
• Acting as the external & internal representative of IDC research for your domain
• Coordinate and collaborate with local country, regional and worldwide research teams to align program/research with other research initiatives
• Thought leadership and creation of special reports
• Project management of fieldwork and custom research

Program Execution:
• Project Management of fieldwork, subscription programs, custom research - ensure that projects are completed on a timely basis and adhere to IDC's standards utilizing IDC methodology and taxonomy
