In this position, we are looking for an analyst to lead Japan Artificial Intelligence and Analytics: Technologies, Solutions and Generative AI.
The analyst will conduct ongoing research and analysis of trends in the overall AI and analytics market in Japan, and provide customers with the deep knowledge and insights gained.
In addition, the analyst will work with global and Asia-Pacific analysts in the AI and Analytics market to contribute IDC's thought leadership in this market from a Japanese perspective.
Major responsibility:
-Planning and execution of research on Artificial Intelligence and Analytics and writing of research reports. -The research covers the overall Japanese AI and Analytics market, including AI trends in Japan, various AI related markets including AI/Analytics Software, Services, and other products/services.
-The research will include market forecasts, vendor share analysis, and user company demand surveys, as well as interviews with IT suppliers and user companies, quantitative research such as web surveys, and research of secondary data.
Other responsibility
-Planning of assigned research program, customer support, business development/sales support, media relations.
-Conduct presentations at IDC events and vendor events related to the AI and Analytics market, as well as customized research for specific clients.
-Collaborate with international analysts on research, planning, and proposal activities.
-Build relationships with IT vendor's executive/marketing department clients.
1.Those who have knowledge of the AI/Analytics technology market and experience in providing services or marketing/business development in this area, and have experience in any of the following A-E categories.
A) Experience in helping clients drive AI/Analytics implementation project at IT vendors, consulting firms, etc.
B) Experience in product marketing, systems engineering, and integration of AI/Analytics products at a cloud services provider, systems integrator, or consulting firm.
C) Experience presenting and discussing IT system/architecture/business issues related to AI/Analytics to senior management at IT vendors or end-user companies.
D) Experience in planning, designing, and conducting vendor research, channel research, and user research in AI/Analytics related tech market at a market research firm.
E) Basic knowledge of the investment situation in the AI/Analytics area and experience in consulting on business issues.
2. English proficiency: Basic conversation, e-mail communication (read and write)
3. Japanese: native level (reading, writing, and speaking)
4. PC: Excel (pivot table creation/utilization skill), Word, PowerPoint
5. College graduate or above
