About the Role & Team

IDC's China is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join the Beijing, China Imaging Team focusing on printing hardware software and services domain. We are looking out for someone with leadership quality, analytical skills and willingness to learn and explore new domains. 

What You’ll Do:

• Good understanding of consumer devices, such as PC, Tablet, Mobile Phone, PC Monitor, etc. industry, including market trend, competitive environment, and demand side.
• Excellent communication skills. Have interview capability and cross-organizational communication skills.
• Cooperate with local analyst teams to check multiple product category and optimize accuracy and completeness
• Analysis and generate relevant monthly and quarterly market reports and visual charts according to the data Assist working and communication with global analysts

What You Bring

• has Bachelor's degree or above; Statistic/mathematics/computer science background preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in Python development or big data programming projects, with the ability of data collection/cleaning/deduplication/structuring; Web scraping experience is also welcomed
• Strong mathematical thinking and algebraic computation skills, adept at handling data structures or database models
• Ability to create business-driven data models, performing statistical analysis, and creating visualizations for forecasting, user segmentation and other market analysis
