The Senior Event Specialist – Audience Development will be responsible for driving delegate and attendee acquisition for IDC’s events across Southeast Asia. This role blends strategic planning with hands-on execution, ensuring each event attracts a high-quality audience of senior IT and business leaders. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing event impact, meeting client and sponsor objectives, and strengthening IDC’s brand positioning in the region.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications (Master’s degree preferred).
Experience: 2-4 years of experience in B2B event marketing or audience acquisition
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of CRM systems such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Marketo, and proficiency in data-driven marketing approaches.
Core Skills: Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership abilities.
Mindset: Results-oriented, strategic, and collaborative.
Travel: Willingness to travel 10–15% of the time for events across Singapore and Southeast Asia.
Work Model: Hybrid role, based in Singapore.
