The Survey Data Manager collaborates with survey managers, analysts, and business stakeholders to manage data delivery pipelines, uphold methodological standards, and transform raw survey data into actionable intelligence. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise in survey operations with strong analytical skills and a commitment to quality and innovation.

What You’ll Do

  • Field Monitoring & Quality Control. Monitor live data collection for data quality. Identify and flag data quality issues during interim and final deliverables; proactively notify stakeholders.
  • Data Processing. Clean and validate raw survey data; run data transformations, apply weighting schemes and generate banner tables.
  • Dashboard Creation. Build dashboards that align with the project storyline.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration. Work closely with survey managers internal analysts, consultants, and business units to understand research goals and deliver data that meets business needs.
  • Vendor Coordination. Collaborate with external survey partners to ensure proper data formatting and adherence to quality standards.
  • Documentation & Standards. Maintain documentation of data processes, methodologies, and best practices to support transparency and reproducibility.
  • Project Management. Oversee multiple concurrent survey data projects, ensuring deadlines and service-level agreements are consistently met.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Market Research, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in survey data management or quantitative research (B2B or tech industry experience preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with survey scripting and platforms; familiarity with skip logic and field validation techniques.
  • Strong proficiency in data processing and statistical analysis using tools such as SPSS, R, Python, or Excel.
  • Experience with dashboarding and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, DisplayR, Crunch, KnowledgeHound).
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills; ability to collaborate across teams and functions.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to data quality and methodological rigor.
  • Interest or experience in applying AI tools to streamline survey data workflows is a plus.
