Overview

About the Role & Team
This position provides practical, hands-on operational assistance critical to enable the proper functioning of the Business Unit. The Coordinator also supports tracking and basic reporting for global domain deliverables, assists with Quarterly Business Review preparation, and manages specific workflows related to multi-client studies and special report processes, including tasks tied to China operations. The remit is to keep foundational operations running smoothly so the team can stay focused on their core work.

What You’ll Do

  • Gathers financial reporting support requirements and provides them by leveraging IDC multiple reporting dashboards and systems
  • Manages and provides oversight of all IDC Permissions requests related to China Certification requests.
  • Acts as a central point of contact for report requests, operations processes, or tools navigation, helping teams access relevant systems, dashboards, and cross-functional resources (Sales, HR, IT, Finance)
  • Manages internal meeting logistics and provides any executive administrative support
  • Leads operational onboarding for new hires, offering orientation and guidance on the Global Domain structure, processes, and key contacts
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the Global and China Domain teams, ensuring the China Domain is consistently informed of key updates relating to Research and Data operational processes
  • Any other responsibilities assigned by his/her reporting manager   

 

What You Bring

  • At least a bachelor’s degree in the field of Economics, Statistics, Business Administration
  • At least 3 years working experience in business operations and is well-versed in written Chinese and Mandarin
  • Candidate must be well-verse in using Microsoft Excel, demonstrates good problem-solving abilities, able to work independently, and trustworthy
  • Candidate should be highly adaptable in a dynamically changing environment, has a positive and can-do mindset, and strives for excellence in his/her work
  • Candidate to have some experience in being a people manager as the person will need to manage a staff in this role
