About the Role & Team
The Associate Project Coordinator is responsible for managing key processes that enable IDC to deliver complex research reports accurately and on schedule. This role supports two service models: end-to-end execution of IDC MarketScape projects, ensuring smooth coordination across teams and stakeholders, and a project oversight model that provides standardized phase checklists, guidance, and periodic quality reviews, enabling IDC analysts to self-manage day-to-day execution and deliverables.
What You’ll Do
- Initiate, coordinate, and close projects on time by applying consistent portfolio management methodologies to track progress and optimize project outcomes across all initiatives. You will need to collaborate closely with IDC analysts, clients, sales, product, and business operations teams, to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
- Monitor and enforce standardized practices across the entire project portfolio, ensuring accountability and process adherence. You will also deploy standardized templates and guidance documents for analysts to aid in content development and drive consistent outcomes throughout the project.
- Use consistent communication frameworks and channels to maintain clarity, transparency, and timely information flow among stakeholders.
- Manage and maintain project-related tasks, such as creating a project plan, updating trackers, encoding survey questionnaires, and data collection, as well as documentation and communications to support effective project execution.
- Follow a standardized escalation protocol for immediate issue reporting and resolution, minimizing disruption and maintaining project velocity.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Business Administration, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field
- 0–2 years of experience in project coordination or a similar role (fresh graduates are welcome to apply)
- Willingness to work a 7:00 PM to 4:00 AM shift (Manila time) to support U.S. time zone overlap
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders across functions and levels
- Highly organized, with excellent time management and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to synthesize information and present it clearly in written form
- Proactive mindset, with the ability to anticipate issues and take action to prevent delays
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to take initiative and support a wide range of project activities
- Dependable and accountable, with a strong sense of ownership
- Has basic research and analytical skills
