I

Currently we are looking for a Data Analyst to join our Software research team. If you are passionate about technology, eager to explore market trends, and ready to develop your analytical and technical skills, we offer the perfect platform for your professional growth. This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data end-to-end — from cleaning and validating it, to modelling trends, to presenting findings in a way that drives decisions.


What You’ll Do

 

  • Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency across datasets.
  • Perform quantitative analysis on market size, growth rates, and vendor performance using appropriate analytical tools and techniques. Create models that reconcile data from disparate sources, including SEC filings, vendor surveys, press releases, primary research, and analyst estimates.
  • Identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and key business drivers within large and varied data sets. Design fact and dimension tables for vendor revenue, market sizing, and forecast data
  • Model relationships between vendors, products, M&A activity, and parent/subsidiary corporate structures
  • Translate raw data into actionable insight, presenting analysis in a way that's easy for stakeholders to act on.
  • Partner with research and forecasting teams to ensure data consistency across publications and deliverables.
  • Support ad-hoc data requests and analysis, adapting quickly to shifting priorities.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or Engineering (preferred) with a strong understanding of economic principles and their application to market analysis.
  • 2-3 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or market research, ideally within the technology industry.
  • Proven experience in financial analysis and market modelling.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and pattern recognition skills with an understanding of the broader business implications of data findings.
  • Skilled in analysing complex datasets and developing predictive models, with familiarity in statistical tools and methodologies.
  • Strong English written and verbal communication skills to effectively present research findings.
  • Efficient in managing multiple research projects and meeting deadlines. Excellent in problem-solving around data integrity, redundancy, and scalability.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas – ex. VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data validation, COUNT and macros knowledge is a plus. Experience using Advanced Excel is a must.
  • Leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) such as Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, and similar AI tools to accelerate research, data extraction, content summarization, information synthesis, and productivity. workflows using strong prompt engineering, rigorous data validation to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Stakeholder communication and presentation skills. Adaptability to shifting priorities and ad-hoc requests.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
