About the Role & Team

The role is to help accelerate artificial intelligence adoption, automation, and digital transformation across Devices analyst team. This role will bridge business needs and practical technology, especially will identify repeatable manual work, evaluating where AI can create value, and developing or coordinating solutions that improve efficiency, quality, and scalability. As IDC is now building the intelligence layer to operate AI economy, this is a high-impact opportunity for someone who is genuinely curious about the fast-moving AI landscape and can translate emerging tools and data solutions into practical business applications. The successful candidate will work closely with analysts, data specialists, and business stakeholders to turn research and operational pain points into effective AI-enabled workflows, tools, and improved analytical processes.


What You’ll Do

  1. Identify business processes, recurring manual tasks, and data workflows that can be improved through AI automation or data-driven solutions. 
  2. Evaluate relevant AI tools, platforms, and implementation approaches, validate practical use cases and knowledge-retrieval solutions based on business automation needs that meet data availability, complexity and expected impact.                                                                                 
  3. Develop and maintain lightweight AI-enabled applications, automation scripts, data-processing workflows, dashboards, or internal tools using programming and low-code or no-code platforms where appropriate.
  4. Collaborate across teams to align workflows, integrate AI-enabled solutions into existing processes, and ensure smooth handoffs between functions, improving overall operational efficiency.
  5. Track relevant AI technology developments and share actionable insights, best practices, and new use-case ideas with the team.

What You Bring

  1. Bachelor’s degree or above in computer engineering, data science, business analytics or other relevant fields.
  2. 1-3 years of relevant work experience in software development, data analytics, business automation, artificial intelligence applications, or related technical roles.
  3. Demonstrated programming experience or development background; proficiency in at least one programming language (such as Python, SQL, JavaScript, or similar) is preferred.
  4. Hands-on experience using generative AI tools and large language model platforms for research, coding, analysis, automation, or content generation.
  5. Understanding of practical AI application patterns, prompt engineering, AI agents, and data quality validation.
  6. Strong learning agility and genuine curiosity about emerging automation tools, workflows, and industry applications.
  7. Practical problem-solving mindset, with strong ownership and willingness to test, iterate, and improve solutions independently in a fast-changing environment.
