About the Role & Team

This is a replacement role for an existing Sales Manager. The role is quota driven, and is primarily responsible in identifying and winning business for the Southeast Asia (SEA) market. It is a sales generalist role that encompasses all IDC product lines, and primarily focused on the Tech Vendor industry. The individual will primarily be focused on driving and winning business in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, The Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam and other SEA countries. Success in this position is on prospecting, creating new logos and business, creating a clean and healthy pipeline, closing deals, and achieving quota. The seller will be provided an assigned territory, with expansion to green field accounts as assigned by their manager. This role will be based in Singapore. No changes in compensation as this is a lateral transfer.   

 

What You’ll Do

The Senior Sales Manager role and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Drive Quota Achievement: Meet or exceed sales targets by identifying prospects, building relationships and positioning IDC’s total product portfolio.
  • Lead end-to-end sales processes, with a blend of acquiring new logo clients, re-igniting dormant accounts, and continuing to win with Enterprise accounts.
  • Manage existing accounts and ensure renewal or continuous business growth
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing and Product Development, to drive sales efforts.
  • Maintain an accurate forecast of your business on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Own your pipeline: identify, qualify, and convert high-value prospects across the geographical region in multiple markets to support the revenue quota achievement
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to adapt strategies and maintain market relevance.
  • Identify and lead campaigns that will increase pipeline and grow your business.

What You Bring

  • BA/BS level degree or equivalent
  • English language essential, other languages desirable.
  • Very strong presentation, writing, critical thinking, and negotiation skills to senior level executives
  • Self-starter with good organization and time management skills; able to work at fast pace, to achieve targets & business goals
  • 8-10 years or more experience in an IT or market research sales organization.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work across IDC local business units worldwide and within IDC Asia Pacific
  • Must have the ability to travel up to 40% of the time
  • Hybrid work model (2/3 times a week in the office)
