About the Role & Team

This position is critical to the success of the team, as the Senior Data Analyst will take ownership of key software vendors within the Human Resources Application Software market or similar ERM market and contribute to the overall market sizing and forecasting process.  In addition to vendor-level research and modeling, the role will work closely with domain leads to coordinate and validate market data to report overall market performance during market size and forecast reviews, ensuring consistency and quality across the research.

What You’ll Do

• Vendor Modeling & Reconciliation - Own vendor models, revenue analysis, data reconciliation, and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency of vendor-level estimates.

• Market Data Leadership - Take ownership of assigned software markets and vendors, providing market insights and supporting overall market size and forecast development.

• Systematic Data Creation & Methodology - Develop and maintain structured, methodology-driven approaches for data collection, estimation, validation, and creation across software markets.

• AI-Driven Research & Automation - Leverage AI tools such as Claude and Python-based automation to improve data research, extraction, analysis, validation, and overall modeling efficiency.

• Market Review & Stakeholder Collaboration - Work closely with domain leads and research teams during market size and forecast reviews, coordinating market performance analysis and ensuring alignment across vendors, markets, and methodologies.
  
  

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or another relevant discipline.
• Relevant professional certifications in data analytics, AI, or market research are an advantage.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in market research, technology/software research, data analytics, financial modeling, or a related field.
• Experience in software industry research and vendor-level analysis is strongly preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and data analysis, with hands-on experience in vendor modeling, data reconciliation, market sizing, forecasting, and working with large and complex datasets.
• Experience with Python and AI tools such as Claude for research, data creation, validation, and automation is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of software markets, vendors, products, and industry dynamics, with the ability to develop systematic, methodology-driven approaches to data collection, estimation, validation, and market analysis across multiple software domains.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, ability to work independently, and strong collaboration skills.
• Ability to work with domain leads and taking ownership of vendor and market deliverables.
• Excellent level of English language and communication skills.
